The Marlboro County Courthouse is located at 105 Main Street, Bennettsville, SC.  There are six flags flying in front of the Courthouse:  The American Flag with the State of South Carolina Flag flying beneath it on the same pole, Spanish Flag, British Flag, French Flag, and Scottish Flag.

Proposed Date for Landfill Hearing

The hearing for the landfill cancelled by the Court in November will be rescheduled in 2012, tentalively in February.  We will keep you updated as we get more information.

We invite you to visit our Website regularly for updates concerning Council meetings.    County Council meets the  2nd Tuesday of  each month at 6:00 pm in the Kinney Meeting room of the Marian Wright Edelman Public Library located at 203 Fayetteville Avenue, Bennettsville, SC.  "Called" meetings are called at the discretion of Council Chair and will be posted on the website.  The Public is invited to attend.
