Marlboro
County Council is comprised of elected officials from
eight single-member districts. All Council members serve
four-year staggered terms. Marlboro County operates under
the Council/Administrator form of government. Under this
form of government County Council determines policies
that are implemented under the direction of an appointed
County Administrator.

month at 6:00 pm.
Council Chambers are located
in the William P. Wallace, Sr. Administration Building
205 East Market Street
Bennettsville, South Carolina
Work session held prior to the Council meeting usually
beginning at 5:00 pm.
Public notice of meetings and work sessions are published
in the
Marlboro Herald-Advocate.
The public is
encouraged to attend all meetings
